What's the time, Mr. Paul?

I've never really been one for unisex watches. I've always leant more towards the rose gold super girly pieces - think Mimco, or the Michael Kors watches people were going cray for a couple years back, super glam, statement pieces in a not so simplistic way. Lately though, with brands like The Fifth, The Horse and Christian Paul bringing simplistic style back with a whole heap of sophistication, I had to jump on the bandwagon and get myself one of these gorgeous timepieces.

The piece of choice is the 43mm Gold and Black from Christian Paul's Original Collection. This one retails at $169 which I think is incredibly reasonable for a watch of this quality. With gold hardware and a gorgeous black leather band, this watch is simple, yet what gives it that something extra is the incredibly gorgeous black marble face that you don't see too often. They have an array of gorgeous colour bands and faces, each with different features, and while I was initially drawn to the Peach 'Bondi Marble' and the Tan 'Avalon Marble', I decided to go for something a little more masculine this time.

The quality of these watches are impeccable, they are absolutely gorgeous to look at and they're at a fairly reasonable price point. You can buy them direct from http://www.christianpaul.com.au/, where free shipping is offered worldwide, the Iconic, or find them in your local Christian Paul stockist.
