Up until around this time last year I'd always struggled to find a foundation that I absolutely loved. There was always something wrong with the ones I'd tried. They offered too much coverage, not enough coverage, the wrong skin shades, a texture that I didn't love... The list goes on. Some broke me out and others even made my skin look even worse than it actually was. I'm fairly fussy when it comes to base makeup, I believe that a good foundation is absolute key to gorgeous makeup. I looked up and down for a foundation that gave the look of flawless skin while still looking dewy and fairly natural. Nars Sheer Glow was the foundation I'd been looking for all along.

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil - Worth The Hype?
In typical me fashion, I was late to the party on this one. With the amount of hype surrounding this product just about everyone and their dog has tried this, but seeing as how slack I am when it comes to brows it is no surprise I was until last week an Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil virgin. Normally I slap a bit of powder (Urban Decay's Buck is the shadow of choice) through my eyebrows and leave them looking shabby and simply not their best. Walking past Mecca Cosmetica recently I bit the bullet and purchased the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette. As I'm typically lazy with my eyebrows, I was looking for something that was quick and easy, yet guaranteed me fiercer, tidier, and all round improved eyebrows. Did this product disappoint? I think not.

Evening Skincare Routine
To the horror of many of you, I used to be incredibly slack when it came to taking care of my skin. I would sleep with makeup on, I was ridiculously lazy with products, I wasn't giving my skin time to breathe and heal and it was certainly starting to show. Times have changed though and I now look forward to doing my nightly skincare regime. Since then I've found a whole heap of products I absolutely adore that work wonders for me that won't be neglected anytime soon.

Top 3 Spring Nail Polishes
I can't believe we're already nearly a month into Spring. While the weather is still being a little temperamental, the days where the sun has made a cheeky little appearance are making me so excited for the warmer months. While Autumn and Winter are my favourite seasons, and those seasons host some of my favourite trends - berry lips, tartan, ankle boots.. The list could go on... I still do adore Spring and Summer and do throughly enjoy cracking out brights, pastels and everything in between. Pinks and oranges are a nice change from deep reds and berries and I feel in these seasons we can be a little more experimental when it comes to the brighter end of the colour spectrum.
Top Four 'Can't Live Without' Lip Products
Lipsticks, tints and glosses are all well and good, but if you're lips aren't in tip top condition you won't get the best out of them. Many of us suffer from chapped, dry, flaking lips and having just experienced winter in Australia I know that feeling all too well. While chapped lips are ridiculously annoying and uncomfortable, they also have the ability to make you love your lipstick a little less. As disgusting as it sounds, products have a tendency to cake around dry areas of skin and often don't look as luscious as you first hoped. Don't despair though, there are a whole heap of products on the market to help combat uncomfortable chapped lips that won't cost you an arm and a leg. So to find out how to get that $10 Rimmel looking a little more like a $50 Chanel, keep on reading.

Rediscovering Old Favourites
I have a tendency to fall into a rut with products I use, I rarely mix it up and I end up neglecting a whole heap of products that I do genuinely love purely because there are others within arms reach. I tend to stick to products that I know work for me and I don't venture away from those favourites too often. In an attempt to mix up my make up a little bit, I've recently rummaged through my makeup drawers and rediscovered some products that I used to (and still do now) adore.

Let's Talk About Face Masks...
There's nothing better than a good, purifying face mask in my opinion. Being a slight (massive) skin care obsessor, I love skin care and all skin products but there's just something about face masks that makes them all the more exciting to use. Maybe it's the quick results they bring, the fact that you can actually feel them working, or the care free factor - just slap one on for 10-15 minutes and bam you're done. Not only are they great, but you can make them yourself. This post is all about the pre-made, buy them in a pot/tube/bottle kinda ones though, so behold, here are my top five that have been known to work wonders for my skin. Unfortunately I only have one of these on hand at the moment, but I certainly know what I'll be picking up next time I'm in Melbourne.

Neutral lips
It's been a good four months since I was last swiping on a bold lip on an everyday basis. I used to crack out the reds, plums and everything in between like you wouldn't believe, and the thought of leaving the house with a nude!?! That sent shivers down my bright colour loving spine. However, whether it be a phase or a permanent change altogether, times have changed, and for the time being, my 'look at me' lip days have come to a abrupt halt. I've been leaning towards nudes, pinks and peaches more than anything else. Although complete nudes terrify me still (I could never pull off one of those) these shades are more 'my lips but better.' So why not crack open that lipstick draw, and share with some of you my top five lipsticks that are more on the neutral side. So behold, I've got some serious lip product raving to do.
Six Of The Prettiest Places In Europe
There's absolutely no doubt that Europe boasts some of the most gorgeous locations in the world. From historic cities and tiny villages found in any European country... to beach side heaven in the likes of Italy or Greece.... to tiny fairytale like towns tucked away in the Norwegian Fjords... The list is neverending and no matter how many times one visits, there is always somewhere new to take your breath away. Here are six places in Europe which I've found to be among the most picturesque and photogenic.

A few Paris Highlights...
I've loved Paris ever since my first visit in 2011 and even though Australia is so far from France I've been lucky enough to recently return. While the hustle and bustle of typical tourist attractions is all well and good, I found on my second visit an urge to roam around the slightly quieter areas and do as the Parisians do. Here are a few of my favourite places in Paris, that you may or may not have heard of yet.
MAC Lipstick Wishlist
While lipsticks take up the most room in my makeup collection, I recently came to terms with the fact that I only own four Mac lipsticks (Sweetie, Russian Red, Hang Up and See Sheer), yet they're my stand out favourites amongst a sea of many other much loved lipsticks.

My Holy Grail Skincare BRAND?
Ahhh Kiehl's, my one true love. I've struggled with a multitude of skin issues for the longest time - dry skin, combination skin, oily skin, blemishes, you name it, my skin has been there! Because of this, I've realised the importance of using quality products on your skin that actually work. While skincare products from the drugstore are far nicer on the wallet, those products often don't offer the benefits that products from higher end brands do. For the past couple years I've been back and forth, left right and centre searching for and trying products that would guarantee me better skin. A couple of months ago late one night whilst waiting for an 11pm Dubai bound flight in the Tullamarine airport, curiosity got the better of me. I finally bit the bullet and purchased some Kiehl's products and I'm yet to look back. Here are my picks from the Kiehl's line up.

When in Santorini...
There's something so captivating about those Greek white washed walls and indescribable blue seas. While I've been lucky enough to have been to so many stunning places, Santorini has always been one of my travel highlights. Gorgeous weather, absolutely stunning scenery and no shortage of photo opportunities, Santorini captured my heart in both 2011 and 2014, and hopefully holds many more future memories.
